Chevrolet Spark EUV Promises to Shake Up the Electric SUV Market in Brazil
General Motors has officially announced the arrival of the Chevrolet Spark EUV in Brazil as part of the celebrations for the automaker’s 100 years in the country. The model will be imported from China, based on the Baojun Yep Plus, and marks the beginning of a new phase of launches for the brand in Brazilian territory.
With a design featuring straight lines and a “boxy” profile, the Chevrolet Spark introduces LED headlights integrated into a black strip at the front and vertical taillights at the rear. The Activ version will be the only one available in the national market, with six color options and paint combinations, including the standout Sea Blue with Polar White roof.

Motor, Battery, and Performance of the Chevrolet Spark EUV
The Chevrolet Spark EUV features a rear electric motor with 102 hp (75 kW) and 180 Nm of torque. The 41.9 kWh (LFP) battery ensures up to 400 km of range in the Chinese WLTC cycle, 298 km in the European WLTP standard, and between 250 and 300 km according to Inmetro estimates. Its top speed is 150 km/h.
Vehicle dimensions: 3.99 m in length, 1.76 m in width, 1.73 m in height, and a wheelbase of 2.56 m. The trunk has a capacity of up to 385 liters.
Technology and Comfort in the Chevrolet Spark EUV
Among the highlights of the Chevrolet Spark EUV are the 8.8” digital display and a 10.1” multimedia center, compatible with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The model also offers a 360° camera, lane-keeping assistance, automatic parking, front and rear sensors, as well as adaptive cruise control.
Comfort is assured with features such as digital air conditioning, keyless entry, remote start, and a driver’s seat with six-way electric adjustment.
Price of the Chevrolet Spark EUV and Competition in Brazil

Although the official price has not been announced, the Chevrolet Spark EUV costs the equivalent of R$ 128,000 in the Middle East. In Brazil, the estimate ranges between R$ 130,000 and R$ 140,000, positioning the model as a direct competitor to the BYD Dolphin in the compact electric SUV segment.
The Chevrolet Spark EUV was revealed to the public during the promotional activities for GM’s 100 years in Brazil, including a presentation on Big Brother Brasil 25. The automaker confirmed that the model will be the first of five vehicles to be launched throughout 2025 in the country.
