The inauguration of the new Assaí unit is an evolution of the company’s organic expansion project, which, in the last six years, has more than doubled its presence throughout Brazil. Currently, Assaí is present in all regions of Brazil, in 23 states and the Federal District. Bahia is the third state with the highest number of Assaí Atacadista stores, with a total of 18 units, two of which were inaugurated last year – one in Barreiras and another in Feira de Santana. This year, in addition to the new unit in Teixeira de Freitas, Assaí confirms the inauguration of a new store in the coming months, in Salvador, also in Bahia, which will generate even more job openings.
