Electric Motorcycle Market Is Growing More and More
As previously mentioned, the electric motorcycle market has been gaining increasing notoriety in the world of urban mobility, and as such, several advancements are being made. One that caught the media’s attention a few months ago is the production of a new model that changes size depending on the rider’s needs.
The new concept is being manufactured by industrial designer Zhengxuan Xie. The project is part of Zhengxuan’s graduation at the Royal College of Art in London, England. One of the unique details of the project is the electric motorcycle’s ability to adjust to the size of all riders, which could be referred to as Power Inside.
The designer explains that the seat height of an electric or conventional motorcycle is one of the biggest challenges for those who require a motorcycle. Shorter individuals, for example, may benefit from this new concept, as the rider would have the ability to decide the dimensions of the motorcycle, as long as it remains within the adjustment possibilities.
Although it is a project for the future, this innovation has drawn the attention of the entire electric motorcycle market. Furthermore, Zhengxuan states that the model could also be a powerful machine. The designer estimates that the electric motorcycle would be powered by a 17.7 kWh battery with a capacity of 51 milliamperes, potentially providing up to 348 volts of power to the engine.
