CEMIG Launched Public Competition for 150 Electrician Positions Distributed Across Various Regions of Minas Gerais. The Registration Period is from September 1st to October 2nd, 2025, Exclusively Online, with a Fee of R$ 70 and the Possibility of Exemption.

The Energy Company of Minas Gerais confirmed a new CEMIG 2025 competition for the position of Electrician, with 150 immediate vacancies and a reserve list. The selection occurs under CLT regime and includes units in various regions of the state, strengthening maintenance, operation, and expansion of the electrical network.

The position involves activities in distribution networks, overhead and underground lines, live line work, and support for transmission line maintenance. It is an operational role that requires mastery of safety standards, project reading, and the ability to work in a team, even in contingency scenarios.

The announcement provides for affirmative action and vacancy reservations according to legislation, in addition to evaluation stages that measure technical knowledge and aptitude for the job. Salary, Hours, and Benefits

The Basic Course in Safety in Installations and Services with Electricity (NR 10), the Complementary Course in Safety in the Electric Power System and its Proximity (NR 10 SEP), and the Training for Working at Heights (NR 35), all valid, are also mandatory.

To prove experience, it is recommended to organize CTPS, contracts, or letterhead declarations that describe compatible activities. Updated certificates and personal documents must be ready before starting the application to avoid errors.

Distribution of Vacancies by Work Region

The 150 vacancies are distributed throughout the state, which increases the chances of placement close to the candidate’s home. The largest offering is in the Northeast (46 vacancies), followed by Center (20), and groups with 13 vacancies in East, North, and Triangle. There are also 12 vacancies in Mantiqueira, West, and South, and 9 vacancies in the Northeast.

Within each region, the final allocation considers the company’s needs. Therefore, it is strategic to choose the region with the most vacancies at the time of application, balancing competition and personal preference.

The selection will include an objective exam with 35 questions, of an eliminatory and classificatory nature, scheduled for November 23, 2025. The exam will cover Portuguese Language, Reading, and Communication with 15 questions and Specific Knowledge with 20 questions, totaling 55 points.

The specific section is likely to address NR 10, NR 10 SEP, NR 35, safety procedures, basic electricity applied to distribution networks, materials, tools, and diagram reading. Mastery of these topics differentiates candidates in the final outcome.

After the exam, there will be a pre-employment health assessment with eliminatory character. This stage verifies aptitude for performing activities, respecting occupational and safety protocols.

Schedule, Answer Key, and Validity

The convocation card is released close to the exam date, with location and time. The answer key is scheduled for November 24, 2025, allowing the candidate to estimate performance and plan next steps.

The validity of the competition is 18 months from the approval of the final result, with possible extension for an equal period. This period favors additional convocations according to the company’s needs.
