The announcement for the anticipated Securities and Exchange Commission (CVM) Exam has been released, offering a total of 60 positions, of which 20 are for Inspector and 40 for Analyst; the attractive starting salary is R$ 20,924.80. Applications will be open from January 30 to March 6.

Applications and Fees for the CVM Exam: Some Important Procedures

Those interested in participating in this process must apply through the Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV) website during the period from January 30 to March 6, 2024. The application fee is R$ 145.00. It is important to note that there is a possibility of exemption for candidates covered by specific decrees, upon request and proof in accordance with the rules of the announcement.

Phases of the Exam: Objective and Descriptive Tests

The selection process will be conducted in two phases:

The Objective Test (05/26/2024):

Morning session: Basic knowledge and descriptive test.
Afternoon session: Specific knowledge.

The objective test of the exam will have 110 multiple-choice questions, of which 40 are basic knowledge and 70 are specific knowledge. Each question is worth 1 point, totaling 110 points.

The Descriptive Test:

For most specialties, there will be 2 questions, worth 20 points each.
For Inspector – Accounting and Auditing (Profile 3), there will be 3 questions, worth 20 points for question 1 and 10 points each for questions 2 and 3.

The third question, which is exclusively for Inspector – Accounting and Auditing, will address content in English and for this reason must be answered in the language, as established by the guidelines of the same announcement.
