One of the most anticipated competitions for this year, the Postal Service exam, is expected to bring many positions for the postal worker role, which has salaries that can exceed R$ 11 thousand.
According to an article published by the “Notícia Concursos” portal, labor unions state that the negotiations for the Postal Service exam are in full swing, with the postal worker position being one of the main ones.
According to the site, initially, the professional has a salary of R$ 2,256.18. However, this remuneration can increase significantly over time, reaching R$ 11,934.73 when the professional, with a high school education, reaches the peak of their career.
Postal Service Exam Still in 2024
As previously reported by Click Petrol and Gas, the expectation is that the notice for the Postal Service examination will be released this year. In this sense, it is important to highlight that the position of postal worker is expected to have one of the highest numbers of vacancies because, in recent years, the entity, by not conducting new exams, has lost many employees, who left the institution either due to retirement or other reasons.

The Role of the Postal Worker
Recently, Click Petrol and Gas prepared an article about the role where it explained that, in the position of postal worker, the professional is responsible for executing tasks related to collection, receipt, sorting, checking, reconditioning, distribution, record-keeping, and return of postal items and telegram messages. Furthermore, the professional, when performing this function, must be responsible for the collection of special contracts and other products and services provided in the Company’s portfolio, researching, tracking, identifying, and accounting for the items and documents under their responsibility.
To do this, employees use appropriate equipment or means, following the rules, including safety regulations, to meet the work plan established by the Company. Postal workers must also report to immediate supervisors when they identify irregularities in postal flow during their activities, to support decision-making.
Additionally, these employees may occasionally participate in promotional and social campaigns of the Company, publicizing products and services, suggesting possible business opportunities, and providing information about programs to comply with government policies and the strategic plan of the Company.
Finally, the professional in the role of postal worker may carry out tasks related to customer service and sales in small Units, following the standards and regulations to meet the work plan established by the Company and may also perform other tasks of the same nature and complexity that are part of the activities in the Unit to fulfill the strategic plan of the Company.
