1.0 Engines Can Save Fuel, But This Is Not The Only Point To Consider
The purchase of used cars is generally made by people whose main goal is savings. To optimize this economy, it is common to look for cars with 1.0 three-cylinder or turbocharged engines, which are more efficient. But fuel consumption is not the only point that should be analyzed, as many of these vehicles are more expensive to repair in workshops.
To help you choose used cars that do not have a high repair cost, we will present the five models revealed by Autoesporte that can be more difficult to repair, according to data from the Vehicle Maintenance Index (IMV) of Cesvi Brazil.
How Does The Cost Classification For Car Repairs Work?
The Cesvi index is based on the maintenance cost disclosed by the manufacturer and the parts that need to be replaced within the first 100,000 km. After that, the car receives a score that ranges from 10 to 60 points. The lower the IMV score, the lower the cost for the repair.
