Deckhand
This employee is responsible for assisting with the vessel’s maneuvers, occupying the positions for which they have been assigned. Additionally, they should help execute anchoring maneuvers, lifting, docking, undocking, entering, and exiting docks and any other tasks, among other activities.
Main requirements and qualifications: CIR (Registration and Record Book); STCW II/4 or II/5; EBCP; TBS; Updated NR Certificates (NR-6 / NR-20 / NR-33 / NR-35); International Yellow Fever Certificate; Valid passport.
Deck Boy
Whoever fills this job position at Log-In will be responsible for receiving, on deck of the vessel and transporting to the respective storages, the consumable material belonging to the deck section; Executing all tasks determined by the ship’s bosun, such as cleaning, maintenance, painting, among others.
Main requirements: CIR (Registration and Record Book); STCW II/4; EBCP; TBS; Updated NR Certificates (NR-6 / NR-20 / NR-33 / NR-35); International Yellow Fever Certificate; Valid passport.
Chief Engineer
This is the professional responsible for the technical, economic, disciplinary, and administrative direction of their sector, as the in-charge of the Machine Section, among various other responsibilities listed on Log-In Logistics’ recruitment site.
