After Record Profit of R$ 3.7 Billion, Postal Service Will Distribute Gains to Employees
After achieving the highest financial profit in the last 22 years, employees of the Postal Service received full inflation replacement in salaries, positions, and benefits. The news was announced by the president of the federal public company, Floriano Peixoto, in an interview with the program A Voz do Brasil, on September 12.
Peixoto commented on the wage negotiation approved by the company and that is already in effect. According to the president, he personally engaged in negotiations with the staff to bring the best possible agreement forward.
According to the approved text, employees of the Postal Service received full inflation replacement in salaries, positions, and benefits. “This is a matter of justice and a constitutional duty of the company to our workforce, our greatest asset,” said Peixoto.
