According to Juliana Alcântara, the project coordinator, “Erudir seeks to democratize access to audiovisual knowledge, promoting social inclusion, professional training, and encouragement of local creative economy. It is a way to prepare new professionals and stimulate cultural entrepreneurship.”

Partnership Between Institutions Strengthens the Creative Economy

The online audiovisual course is conducted by the Institute of Friends of the Biosphere Reserve of the Cerrado, in partnership with the Department of Culture and Creative Economy of the Federal District (Secec-DF).

The main objective is to strengthen youth leadership and boost the creative economy in the Federal District, encouraging the emergence of new talents in the audiovisual sector.

The initiative is part of a set of actions aimed at enhancing culture and developing skills that expand employment and income opportunities, especially among young people and professionals seeking reemployment.
