The City Hall of São Francisco de Itabapoana Offers Free Offshore Courses in Partnership with Firjan/Senai. Registrations Run Until Friday, the 15th.
The City Hall of São Francisco de Itabapoana (SFI) is accepting registrations until this Friday, August 15, for free offshore courses aimed at professional training. The initiative is a result of a partnership between the Municipal Department of Labor and Human Development and Firjan/Senai, aimed at preparing local residents to work in strategic sectors of civil construction and the offshore industry.
Classes will begin on August 25 and will be held in two locations in the city, always from Monday to Friday, from 6 PM to 9 PM. The courses combine theory and practice, with an average duration of four months.
Four Free Offshore Courses Focused on Employability
There are four options for free offshore courses available:

Federal Institute opens applications for 100% free undergraduate and postgraduate courses with more than 150 spots in Administration, Public Management, and specializations; selection includes external transfer, graduates, and courses recognized by the MEC with applications open until June.

- Platform Assistant (180 hours)
- Drywall System Installer (180 hours)

The first two courses start on August 25.
The training programs were designed to cater to different profiles, with a minimum requirement of completed elementary education for Construction Electrician and only the 5th year for Platform Assistant.
Class Locations and Structure of Free Offshore Courses
The Construction Electrician course will be held at the Work and Income Generation Space (GTR), located at the Municipal Department of Labor and Human Development’s headquarters.
The Platform Assistant course will take place at the Municipal School Herval Luiz dos Santos Batista, in downtown SFI.
All free offshore courses offer comprehensive training, focusing on professional practice and market insertion.
How to Register for the Free Offshore Courses?
To secure a spot, interested individuals must go to the Department’s headquarters, located at Avenida Vereador Edenites A. Silva Viana, No. 141, in downtown.
It is necessary to present copies of the ID, CPF, proof of residence, and proof of education.
Spaces are limited, and demand has been high. Therefore, those who wish to qualify for free in technical areas should hurry.
