Partnership Started Two Decades Ago Between BMW and Chinese Company Yielded Unexpected Fruits: Today, The Former Ally Dominates The European Market
Voge is breaking expectations in the Spanish market. The Chinese brand, which arrived in the country in 2019, quickly carved out a prominent space. Now, it ranks among the three best-selling manufacturers, leading in the trail segment and experiencing accelerated sales growth. The rise of Voge is a reflection of the new moment in the motorcycle industry.
Chinese Brand Among The Leaders In The Spanish Market
The premium division of the Chinese giant Loncin now holds the fourth position among all motorcycle brands in Spain. It is only behind two leaders in scooters and the also Chinese brand Zontes. This means that two of the four best-selling brands in the country are from China.
Honda and Yamaha still maintain strong cumulative sales, but the scenario changes when looking model by model. In this context, Voge leads by a wide margin.

Partnership With BMW Strengthened Voge In Europe
A significant part of this success can be explained by the alliance between Loncin and BMW. The partnership began in 2005, with Loncin manufacturing engines for models such as the BMW F 900 GS. Over time, the Chinese company began producing complete motorcycles for the German manufacturer.
This collaboration went beyond assembly: it involved standardization, certifications, and even licensing technologies. This is how Voge emerged as we know it today.
Voge 900 DSX Dominates The Trail Segment
The model that changed the game was the Voge 900 DSX. Inspired by the BMW F 900 GS, this motorcycle leads sales in the trail segment, one of the most popular in Europe.
Its distinguishing feature lies in the equipment and cost-benefit ratio. Even priced at nearly €10,000, around R$ 63,549, it ranks third overall among all models sold in Spain—a market dominated by scooters, which account for more than half of sales.
The Voge 900 DSX delivers more for less. While the BMW F 800 GS starts at €10,970 and the F 900 GS exceeds €13,980—or €15,000 in the more complete versions—the Chinese motorcycle retails for €9,192, with impressive standard features.
It includes a blind spot radar, emergency braking alert, quickshifter, a 7-inch TFT screen with GPS mirroring, and other features typically exclusive to higher-end motorcycles.
Technical Performance Inspired By The German Competitor
The engine is also a highlight. It is the same 895 cc twin-cylinder engine, with a 270° crankshaft, used in BMWs.
It delivers 95 hp at 8,250 rpm and 94 Nm of torque at 6,250 rpm. It can also be adapted for A2 licensing, which is not possible with the F 900 GS, which reaches 105 hp.
The chassis features a multi-tube steel frame, aluminum swingarm, adjustable KYB suspension, and Brembo brakes. The spoked, tubeless wheels come with Pirelli Scorpion Trail II tires.
New Strategy Challenges The Traditional Model Of The Industry
With this recipe, Voge delivers a high-quality trail motorcycle at a competitive price. It is a direct response to the traditional business model of major brands, which sell basic versions and charge for optional features.
In practice, the Chinese strategy has proven effective. Voge is not only growing in sales: it is redefining the European motorcycle market.
