Seeking To Expand Its Activities In Solar Energy Generation, EDP Brazil Announced The Construction Of Its First Solar Plant In Rio Grande Do Norte, In The Cities Of Pedro Avelino, Jandaira, And Lajes
EDP Brazil announced on Monday (25) that it is investing in the development of its first solar plant. The project has been named Monte Verde Solar and will be developed alongside EDP Renewables in Rio Grande Do Norte. The solar plant will have a capacity of 209 MW and will be located in the cities of Pedro Avelino, Jandaira, and Lajes. According to EDP, in a market statement, the project is already authorized and is expected to begin operations in 2024.
