Eletrobras Announced New Voluntary Dismissal Plan. The Cost Is R$750 Thousand. However, the Enrollment Period for the VDMP Will Be from June 20 to July 21, 2023.
Initially, it was announced this morning, June 19. The new Voluntary Dismissal Plan will start on Tuesday, June 20. It is the second since the capitalization of the utility occurred in June of last year.
The voluntary dismissal will be implemented at Eletrobras and is expected to involve the departure of up to 1,574 employees. This is part of the commitments outlined in the Collective Labor Agreement.
According to Eletrobras, the estimates for global costs range between R$450 million and R$750 million, as mentioned at the beginning of this article, with a payback similar to previous practical plans. However, it is important to remember that the enrollment period will be from June 20 to July 21.
