Service Energia Is Bringing Electricity to Areas Without Power in the State of Goiás Using Solar Energy

Service Energia is a photovoltaic solar energy company that provides a complete solution to generate electricity from the sun, reducing electricity bills by almost up to 95%. The company is installing solar panels in the state of Goiás, bringing electricity to communities that previously had no access to light. With these installations, in the year 2020 alone, the company generated 1 million reais from solar energy.

Access to Electricity Through Solar Energy

The farmer Lídio Santos, who has a property in the municipality of Santa Barbara in the state of Goiás, said that he previously used light bulbs connected to the car battery.

A few months ago, Lídio invested in a solar system for his property. The installation was carried out by Service Energia, where a system that captures sunlight can convert it into electricity.

Investments and Installations for Access to Electricity

Compared to other energy systems, the initial investment in a solar energy system is very high. However, the system becomes viable as it has no monthly fees, there is no need to purchase fuel every week, and there are no additional maintenance fees.

Goiás, Tocantins, Bahia, and Mato Grosso are the states that lead in the number of customers, according to Service Energia. In 2020, the company’s revenue exceeded just over 1 million reais, representing a 60% increase. The company has already installed systems in 50 rural properties and plans to carry out 70 installations in 2021 and use more electricity in remote areas.
