Electric Utility to Build Substation in Santa Catarina
The private electric utility ISA CTEEP, one of the largest companies in the sector in the country, obtained approval from the IMA – the Institute of the Environment of Santa Catarina for the installation of an electric substation and equipment to interconnect the Biguaçu Electric (IE), in Santa Catarina. The project was purchased in the first batch of the transmission auction held in June 2018 and also includes the expansion of an existing substation, the construction of another substation, and a transmission line of 57 kilometers, including both aerial, underwater, and underground sections.
