Learn About the Four Pillars of Energisa’s Professional Qualification Project
The choice of the Zona da Mata in MG encompasses, at the same time, Energisa’s century-old history and its vision for the future. The municipality of Cataguases, part of the region, grew alongside the company, which is currently considered the largest private group in the electricity sector in the country. More than 100 years later, the group relies on its innovation strategy to continue advancing and transforming the region of MG.
According to Ricardo Botelho, the project is just the first step, focusing on professional qualification and generating opportunities for the creation of an innovation and creativity ecosystem in the Zona da Mata region.
Leveraging an ecosystem with vocational education institutions, universities, and a strong history of creation and entrepreneurship, the Rio Pomba Valley is born to meet the needs in technology. The Program operates based on four essential pillars for Energisa, such as partnerships with private and public organizations to boost the initiative, creating an environment for the development of medium and small businesses, education with professional qualification through the formation of an innovation and creativity ecosystem, and community interaction and cooperation between companies, startups, and universities.
