Engeman has just announced on its social profile that it is the big winner of the bidding for two contracts with Petrobras, and many jobs are on the way for the region. Another good news for the Brazilian naval sector, the FPSO P-71 platform ordered by Petrobras will generate many jobs at the Jurong shipyard in Espírito Santo

The contracts won by the service provider in the oil and gas sector – Engeman, based in Macaé, are for the execution of Preventive and Corrective Maintenance on Gas Compressor Systems, Electric Power Generation, and Dynamic Equipment for 11 platforms of the Brazilian oil company Petrobras.

The agreements are set to be valid until the end of 2024 and will benefit the city of Macaé and the surrounding region. The 11 offshore platforms of Petrobras awarded to Engeman for maintenance are P-74, P-75, P-76, P-77, located in the Buzios field, and P-40, P-43, P-48, P-51, P-53, P-56, and PRA-1, located in the Campos Basin.
The Campos Basin is the main sedimentary area already explored on the Brazilian coast. It extends from the vicinity of the city of Vitória (ES) to Arraial do Cabo, on the northern coast of Rio de Janeiro, covering an area of approximately 100 thousand square kilometers.

Pre-Salt: With 69.6 Thousand Barrels of Oil per Day, State Company Breaks Historic Production Record of Oil in the Búzios Field
Petrobras platforms installed (P-74, P-75, P-76 and P-77) in well 7-BUZ-10-RJS of the Búzios Field, located in the pre-salt area of the Santos Basin, recorded a record in the volume of oil and natural gas produced last month.
According to the National Agency of Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels (ANP), about 69.6 thousand barrels of oil equivalent (boe) per day were produced, being the largest volume recorded by a single well in Petrobras’ entire historical series.
