The City Hall of Guarulhos, in the state of São Paulo, in partnership with the school Companhia das Asas, is offering 10 100% free scholarships for young people in situations of social vulnerability. In total, there are five free E-learning courses, hybrid and on-site in various areas provided by the Flight School.

The training programs with free scholarships are as follows:
Flight Operation Dispatcher (DOV)
This course aims to prepare professionals for the Planning and Operational Control of flights in airlines governed by the Brazilian Civil Aviation Regulation (RBAC) number 121.

Flight Attendant (CMV)
It aims to train a technician in security on board an aircraft, meaning this professional is responsible for complying with safety rules and procedures on the aircraft. This person is responsible for checking safety equipment, executing emergency procedures in the event of abnormalities, among other tasks.
Airport Agent
It aims to train an airport worker, that is, a professional who belongs to the category of professions that perform paid functions in the ground services of Air Transport Companies. This person is responsible for assisting passengers with check-in, boarding, and disembarking, among other duties.
Private Pilot Theory Course
The theoretical course for private pilots is the first step for those who wish to become a commercial pilot, providing a foundational preparation, ensuring a solid general education, and preparing students to act in various scenarios and situations.
Aircraft Maintenance Mechanic (MMA)
It aims to train a technician specialized in the maintenance and repair of various aircraft parts, ensuring their functionality and safety. Responsible for conducting periodic inspections as determined by aviation regulations.
Learn How to Apply for the Scholarships at the Flight School
Applications have been open since the 13th and will be available to interested parties until Friday, May 17th.
To participate in the free E-learning, hybrid, or on-site courses at the Flight School, candidates must be at least 20 years old for the flight operation dispatcher course, and for the other courses, the minimum age required is 18 years. Candidates who can provide proof of socio-economic vulnerability and not just claims will be eligible to apply for the scholarships.
For proof of socio-economic vulnerability for the free E-learning, hybrid, and on-site courses, the gross monthly income of the family unit must be up to 3 minimum wages.
The selected candidate for the scholarships must prove vulnerability and socio-economic status through documentation, bank statements from the last three months of accounts linked to the CPF, and a negative certificate of automobile ownership, in addition to filling out a socio-economic form that includes information on properties, family group composition, age, kinship, marital status, among others.
Examination for the Free Courses at the Flight School
In addition to the application, candidates will also be called to take a face-to-face exam, which is expected to take place on June 8 at the institution itself, located at Avenida João Cavalari, 133, Building F, Ponte Grande.
The exam will last for 1 hour, with the timing for its completion being between 8:30 AM and 3:30 PM at the discretion of Companhia das Asas, which will notify candidates in advance based on the data from the application form, according to the number of participants and the precautions regarding health regulations to avoid crowding.
The test will consist of 20 questions, including 5 in mathematics, 5 in Portuguese, 5 in geography, and 5 in basic English.
