Azimut Yachts Obtains License to Expand Operations in Santa Catarina, Strengthening the Brazilian Nautical Sector
The renowned Italian luxury yacht manufacturer, Azimut Yachts, has received authorization from the Santa Catarina Environmental Institute (IMA-SC) to expand its shipyard in Itajaí.
The installation environmental license (LAI) was granted on June 2, 2025. With this, the company will be able to expand its structure by about 4,000 square meters.
The expansion includes a new testing area, a dock with an extension of 80 meters, a pier, ramp, and equipment for moving boats.
