The repercussion of an alleged UFO sighting in Campo Largo, in the Metropolitan Region of Curitiba, continues to mobilize internet users and fuel debates on social media. The case gained notoriety after digital influencer Mayk Leão shared videos and reports involving mysterious lights in the sky and unusual sounds coming from a wooded area near his property.
According to information published by the ND Mais portal, the Brazilian Air Force (FAB) officially commented on the episode after the growing repercussion of the case. The report occurred on May 31, the date on which the influencer claims to have observed phenomena considered unusual in the region.
The FAB’s statement brought an awaited response from thousands of people following the case. However, despite the official position, the mystery is still far from being fully clarified.

FAB comments on alleged UFO in Campo Largo
In light of the great repercussion generated on digital platforms, the FAB reported that it did not record any aerial activity considered abnormal in the region during the mentioned period.
According to information provided by the Department of Airspace Control (DECEA), responsible for monitoring Brazilian airspace, no unknown object was identified by air defense radars on the day mentioned by the influencer.
In a statement sent to ND Mais, the institution highlighted that the monitoring occurred within the usual standards.
“There was no identification of unknown objects by air defense radars nor reports from local airports related to occurrences of this nature. Airspace control occurred normally,” informed the FAB.
With this, the corporation officially dismisses any record of aircraft or unidentified objects detected by aerial surveillance systems in the Campo Largo region during the analyzed period.
Even so, the absence of official records was not enough to end the speculations that continue to circulate on the internet.
Videos published by influencer went viral on social media
The episode began to attract attention when Mayk Leão published images showing luminous points observed in the sky at night. In the recordings, the influencer expresses strangeness at the lights and claims he was unable to identify their origin.
The situation gained even more traction days later when he returned to social media to report new events involving the same rural area near his property.
According to the influencer, unusual sounds were heard coming from the forest during the early hours. Additionally, he stated that some animals on the property displayed behaviors considered different after the reported episodes.
The videos quickly accumulated views, comments, and shares. While some followers suggested possible explanations related to natural phenomena or human activities, others began to consider more unusual hypotheses, including the possibility of extraterrestrial activity.
This scenario contributed to making the case one of the most talked-about topics among users interested in unidentified aerial phenomena.
Lack of official explanation maintains curiosity about the case
Although the FAB clarified that their monitoring systems did not detect any unknown object on the mentioned date, the images shared by Mayk Leão continue to raise questions.
So far, there is no definitive official explanation for the lights recorded in the videos or for the sounds reported in the forested area near the influencer’s property.
Experts often highlight that atmospheric phenomena, drones, conventional aircraft, light reflections, and even specific observation conditions can lead to misinterpretations. However, none of these hypotheses have been confirmed in relation to the episode that occurred in Campo Largo.
Meanwhile, the case remains surrounded by doubts and curiosity. The lack of a conclusive answer continues to drive discussions on social media, where users keep analyzing images, sharing theories, and trying to find explanations for what was recorded.
