Registration for the State Technical Schools (Etecs) Entrance Exam opened on Tuesday (4). Those interested must register by May 8. In the regions of São José do Rio Preto, Bauru, Itapetininga, and Sorocaba (SP), the opportunities are for free technical courses aimed at students who have completed high school or are in their second year.

Administration
This course aims to enable students in the fields of ethics, quality management, entrepreneurship, information systems, business organization, and strategic planning. It also seeks to develop professional, specific, and general competencies that allow young people and adults to enter the job market.

Interior Design
Its goal is to teach students to participate in the development and execution of interior projects for residential spaces, exhibitions, commercial environments, and display windows, focusing on aesthetics, improvement of functional, visual, and ergonomic aspects of environments, to meet user demands for comfort, well-being, and safety.
Construction
It aims to train professionals capable of working in the stages of conception, maintenance, and execution of works, supervising the execution of construction systems and technological control of methods and materials, observing legislation and occupational health and safety standards.
Mechanical Engineering
It focuses on elaborating mechanical projects and automated systems, developing and controlling production processes, planning, applying, and controlling mechanical assembly, installation, and maintenance procedures for machines and equipment, specifying materials for mechanical construction, among others.
Human Resources
This course aims to develop competencies to analyze, act, and critique issues within organizations and seek improvements that generate transformations, applying techniques for planning, evaluation, management, and control for better team and company performance.
Learn How to Participate in Free Technical Courses
According to information from the announcement, those interested in the free technical courses must register for the Etecs Entrance Exam virtually through the form filling on the Entrance Exam website. Candidates must pay the registration fee, which has a total value of R$ 33, by May 9 to complete their registration.
The Etecs accepted requests to reduce the registration fee between March 22 and 31. Students enrolled in Elementary School, High School, higher education, and pre-entrance exam courses with a monthly income of up to two minimum wages or who are unemployed could apply for the benefit. The announcement of the requests is scheduled for April 18. Successful applicants must register by May 8 at 3 PM.
Entrance Exam and Results of the Etecs Entrance Exam
The Etecs Entrance Exam for free technical courses will be held on June 4. According to the schedule, candidates can check the exam location starting May 31 on the Entrance Exam website. Traditionally, the exam consists of objective questions about content and subjects from Elementary School.
Candidates for the first module of technical courses must answer 50 objective questions on general knowledge. Candidates for the second module of free technical courses and advanced technical qualifications must answer an exam consisting of 30 objective questions.
Additionally, Fatecs conducts tests for candidates to the Technical Courses in Dance, Conducting, Singing, and Theater to assess specific skills. According to the schedule, the release of the answer key is scheduled for June 12, and the list of candidates approved in the first call will be published on July 6.
