The Company Eternit Is Using Its Space at the Intersolar South America Fair to Present the Future of the Solar Energy Market in Brazil, Its Latest Launches of Photovoltaic Tiles That Promise to Make the Production of the Resource Even More Efficient.
Throughout its participation in the Intersolar South America fair, which will conclude this coming Thursday (25/08) in the state of São Paulo, the company Eternit is presenting its latest launches of photovoltaic tiles. They utilize a unique system in the Brazilian solar energy production market, allowing for more efficient application of the resource-capturing module over the tiles, enabling better quality in energy generation.
Intersolar South America Features the Presentation of Eternit’s New Photovoltaic Tiles to Boost Solar Energy Production in Brazil
With the strong growth of the renewable energy production sector in the national market over the last few years, the company Eternit has been investing in new equipment for the solar energy sector.
Now, the company takes advantage of its space at the Latin America’s solar energy fair, Intersolar, to present the new acquisitions in its product portfolio marketed in the sector, the photovoltaic tiles.

The company Eternit presented its new line of photovoltaic tiles, Tégula Solar, which includes the models BIG-F10C, BIG-F11, Plana F-12, and PLANA-F15, and according to the company, offers gains in power and ease of installation compared to the first photovoltaic tile from the group, the BIG-F10.
During Intersolar 2021, the first model of the company’s photovoltaic tile was presented, which was well received by the market, but Eternit utilized the space at the new fair in 2022 to expand its product portfolio with cutting-edge technology installed in the new solar energy system.
The group also recently received a green patent registration from INPI (National Institute of Industrial Property), granting exclusive rights to commercially exploit the technology in Brazil. This is because the photovoltaic tiles are an innovative project and have a unique manufacturing process in the national market.
At the end of last year, the company obtained INMETRO’s approval to bring the new photovoltaic tiles to market after presenting its first model, and Eternit is now focusing on expanding its presence in the solar energy sector.
New Line of Photovoltaic Tiles Presented at Intersolar Ensures More Quality and Efficiency in Solar Energy Production
The company Eternit commented on the efficiency of its new line of photovoltaic tiles in the solar energy market and highlighted that “The BIG-F10C model offers greater flexibility in installation, on already constructed roofs or renovations using the BIG concrete tile from Tégula. The PLANA-F15 has a power of 15Wp (Watt-peak), uses a gauge of 34 cm, and requires just under 10 pieces/m². The larger area of the tile occupied by photovoltaic cells makes the model the most powerful in power/coverage area comparison.”
Regarding the BIG-F11 tile model, Eternit states that it is an evolution of the BIG-F10, thus optimizing the capture of rays for solar energy production in residences and other buildings.
Additionally, the new product offers a total of 20% more power compared to the first, with 11Wp (Watt-peak), with an average final output of 1.4 kWh/month.
Thus, the company Eternit continues investing in improvements in its products for solar energy systems and has been gaining more space in the renewable market in Brazil, becoming a reference in large parts of the country regarding its operations in the sector.
