Army Opens Selection With Salary Up to R$ 7,490 With Technical, Basic, and Higher Education Positions in Nine Cities in the Northeast
If you have a technical, higher education or vocational training and dream of joining the Brazilian Army, the time has come: the 7th Military Region Command has opened a new hiring notice with registrations for a new simplified selection process, with opportunities in various temporary positions and salaries exceeding R$ 7,000. The positions are distributed across cities in Pernambuco, Paraíba, Rio Grande do Norte, and Alagoas, and registrations continue until August 13, at 3 PM.
With three levels of education considered, the notice provides for positions of Temporary Technical Officer, Temporary Technical Sergeant, and Temporary Specialist Corporal. The selected candidates will work for a determined period, according to the Army’s needs.
Positions for Those With Technical, Vocational, or Higher Education
For those with higher education, the positions are for Temporary Technical Officer Aspirant, with a base salary of R$ 7,490.00, in addition to the benefits outlined in the temporary military career. The required fields of education include:

Those with technical education at the high school level can apply for the position of Temporary Technical Sergeant, with a salary of R$ 3,997.00. Technical qualifications accepted include:

- And other options outlined in the notice.
Finally, candidates with basic education and vocational training can register for Temporary Specialist Corporal, a position with an initial salary of R$ 2,745.00. Some of the accepted occupations include:

- Assistant Electrical Installer
- Carpenter
- Automotive Electrical Assistant
- Computer Assembler and Maintenance
- Building Painter
- Refrigeration Assistant
- And other technical qualifications listed in the notice.
Work Locations and Participation Criteria
The opportunities are distributed among nine cities in the Northeast, covering the states of Pernambuco, Paraíba, Rio Grande do Norte, and Alagoas. The municipalities included are: Recife, Petrolina, Garanhuns, and São Bento do Una in PE; João Pessoa and Campina Grande in PB; Natal and Caicó in RN; as well as the Alagoas capital, Maceió.
To participate in the selection process, candidates must meet some basic requirements, such as being a native Brazilian, being up to 40 years old on the date of incorporation, being up to date with electoral and military obligations, and presenting all required documentation specified in the notice. It is also necessary to have a minimum height of 1.60m for men and 1.55m for women.
Selection Stages and Incorporation Process
The selection process will consist of several eliminatory and qualifying stages, starting with the Curriculum Evaluation, which analyzes candidates’ education and professional experience. Those applying for positions in the teaching field will also undergo a Practical Evaluation of Pedagogical Ability, aimed at testing teaching skills and content mastery.
Other stages include the Complementary Heteroidentification, intended to verify the self-declaration of black candidates, in accordance with racial quota regulations. Subsequently, those approved will undergo Health Inspection, Physical Aptitude Test, and finally, Complementary Selection for Incorporation, which determines the final selected candidates to join the Army temporarily.
