What is ProfEPT?
The National Graduate Program in Professional and Technological Education (ProfEPT) is an initiative aimed at those seeking to enhance knowledge in teaching, research, and learning practices.
It is offered free of charge by the Federal Network of Professional and Technological Education, ensuring quality and accessibility.
The program offers 656 slots across Brazil, with Ifac providing 14 of them:
- Seven slots are reserved for employees of the Federal Network of Professional and Technological Education;
- Seven slots are open to the general community.
The main objective of the course is to promote the development of competencies in professional and technological education, strengthening applied research and enabling professionals to tackle the challenges of modern education.
Who Can Participate?
ProfEPT is accessible to anyone holding a higher education degree and interested in expanding their role in the educational field.
Half of the slots are reserved for employees of the Federal Network, but the remaining ones are open to any citizen meeting the program’s requirements.

How is the Selection Process?
Interested candidates must register for the National Access Exam (ENA), which will be held on February 23, 2025.
The test will consist of 50 multiple-choice objective questions, covering the following topics:

- Theories and Practices of Teaching and Learning.
The registration fee is R$ 160, and candidates should prepare for a competitive selection process.
