Importance of Faetec Professional Qualification Courses for Women
According to Heloisa Aguiar, State Secretary for Women, free professional training courses increase women’s chances of securing employment, achieving financial autonomy, and taking control of their lives. Women aged 16 and older who are in vulnerable or at-risk situations, who are victims of violence, and who live in areas with poor infrastructure are eligible to apply.
Interested individuals should seek Specialized Centers for Women’s Assistance (CEAMs and CIAMs) or other women’s policy agencies, which will refer candidates to Faetec units.
The president of Faetec, Caroline Alves, emphasizes the importance of this Faetec courses project for all women in social vulnerability and states that the opening of these spots represents a great opportunity for women to re-enter the job market or achieve a better professional position, thus achieving their financial autonomy.
