Federal Institute opens vacancies for a free Web Programming course with in-person classes and selection by public lottery.
The Federal Institute of Paraná announced the opening of new vacancies for a free course in Web Programming, aimed at professional qualification in the technology field. The initiative was announced through Notice No. 58/2026 and will be held at the Advanced Campus of Arapongas, in Paraná.
Registration is open until April 21, 2026, with selection by public lottery. The goal is to expand access to technological training and meet the growing market demand for qualified professionals.
Federal Institute offers 30 vacancies for a free course
The free Web Programming course has an experimental nature, meaning it was developed with a focus on innovation and regional development. The proposal aims to train students from basic concepts to practical applications.

With a total workload of 222 hours, classes will be in-person. Additionally, the course will take place in the evening, from 6:45 PM to 10:15 PM, on Mondays and Wednesdays.
In total, the Federal Institute offers 30 vacancies for the course. The opportunities include broad competition and reserved quotas, following inclusion policies.
Another highlight is that there are no fees charged. That is, the free course does not require payment of registration or tuition, facilitating access to education.
Selection process for the vacancies will be by public lottery
Unlike traditional selections, the filling of vacancies will be done by public lottery. The event is scheduled for April 22, 2026, at 5 PM.
The lottery will be broadcast live on the campus’s official YouTube channel, ensuring transparency. Thus, all registered participants will be able to follow the process in real-time. Selected candidates must register in person between April 27 and 29.
Requirements to participate in the free Web Programming course
To compete for the vacancies, it is necessary to have completed at least Elementary School II (9th grade). The course is aimed at beginners who wish to enter the technology field.
Among the topics covered are programming logic, web development, and practical application. Therefore, it is a relevant opportunity for those seeking their first contact with the sector.
