The Mobi 2026 continues as the most accessible model from Fiat in Brazil, with a price starting at R$ 83,490 and fuel consumption of 14.5 km/l in the city, but the Like and Trekking versions have differences in equipment and appearance that make all the difference when choosing.

Among the zero-kilometer cars sold in the country in 2026, the Mobi remains Fiat’s entry-level vehicle for those needing a new car without compromising their budget. The Mobi 2026 was designed to run in the city: it is short enough to fit in any parking space, has low fuel consumption, and simple maintenance. The engine is the 1.0 Firefly three-cylinder with a flex system, delivering about 74 horsepower with ethanol and 71 with gasoline, combined with a five-speed manual transmission. On Fiat’s official website, the Mobi Like model year 25/26 appears with a list price around R$ 83,490, although specific campaigns have already offered the same car for about R$ 70,790.

The appeal of the Mobi lies precisely in the balance between what you pay and what you receive. Fiat positions the model as an urban solution, aimed at short trips and predictable routines, and not as a car for long journeys or for those seeking cutting-edge technology onboard. This clarity of purpose explains why the Mobi continues to sell well even in a market where car prices keep rising.

Mobi 2026 Consumption: the numbers that justify its reputation for economy

The Mobi 2026 is the most accessible car from Fiat, with a consumption of 14.5 km/l and a price starting at R$ 83,490. See the differences between the Like and Trekking versions.

The data from the Brazilian Labeling Program from Inmetro for 2026 confirms the Mobi’s reputation as one of the most economical subcompacts available for sale.

In the Like version, the model records 14.5 km/l with gasoline and 10.1 km/l with ethanol in urban use. On the highway, the numbers rise to 15.8 km/l and 11.1 km/l, respectively.

The Trekking version shows very close consumption, with minimal lower differences explained by the slightly higher weight, different profile tires, and aerodynamic adjustments.

For those who mainly drive in the city, Fiat’s 47-liter tank offers a range that eliminates frequent visits to the gas station. Considering the price of gasoline and the average urban mileage, the cost per kilometer of the Mobi is among the lowest you can find in a new car.

Size and space: where the Fiat Mobi excels and where it charges its price

With a length of 3,596 mm and a width of 1,666 mm, the Mobi is one of the smallest passenger cars sold in Brazil.

The wheelbase of 2,304 mm and a height of approximately 1.55 meters result in a vehicle that is easy to maneuver and has a driving position slightly higher than that of larger compact hatches. In the tight streets and competitive parking of big cities, this size is a real advantage.

The trunk holds about 200 liters, a volume suitable for everyday shopping, but which requires organization when demand is higher. The Fiat cabin officially accommodates five occupants, although the space in the back seat is more suitable for short trips.

Those who intend to use the car for trips with four adults will feel the squeeze. However, this limitation is part of the pact that the Mobi proposes: maximum compactness in exchange for economy and urban practicality.

Mobi Like or Mobi Trekking: what changes between the two versions of Fiat

Many people arrive at the Fiat dealership knowing they want a Mobi, but without clarity on what separates one version from another. The Like is the leaner and more rational configuration, designed for those who prioritize price above all.

Although it is the entry-level option, it already comes factory-equipped with electric power steering, climate control, and safety features compatible with what is expected from a new car in 2026.

The Trekking adds a look with adventurous traits, a multimedia center, and finishing details that make the interior a bit less austere. For those willing to pay the difference, the Trekking version of the Fiat delivers a less basic appearance and an interior set perceived as more versatile for daily use.

The mechanics, however, remain the same: 1.0 Firefly engine, five-speed manual transmission, and identical urban vocation. The choice between the two ultimately depends on how much weight the buyer places on appearance and convenience features compared to the savings in the simpler version.

For whom the Fiat Mobi 2026 really makes sense

The ideal profile of the Mobi 2026 buyer is someone who prioritizes low acquisition cost, moderate fuel expenses, and uncomplicated maintenance.

Drivers who make short and predictable urban trips will find in the Fiat model exactly what they need, without paying for features they will not use. Those who need space for family, power for the highway, or advanced onboard technology will likely be frustrated with the natural limitations of an entry-level subcompact.

The Mobi does not try to be what it is not, and this honesty of purpose is part of the reason why Fiat manages to keep it among the best-selling new cars in the lowest price range.

In a market where even popular models exceed R$ 100 thousand, having a brand new car below R$ 85 thousand with a consumption of 14.5 km/l in the city still represents an equation that makes sense for many people.

And you, would you choose the Mobi Like to save as much as possible or would you pay more for the Trekking because of the look and extras? Do you think Fiat should offer more equipment in the entry-level version? Leave your opinion in the comments.
