Ford’s SUV Model Is Being Produced in Argentina and Promises to Be a Game Changer, Leaving Competitors Like Toyota SW4 in the Dust
The Brazilian automotive scene is about to heat up! Ford confirmed the production of the Everest in Argentina, and the SUV promises to make a splash here.
Who benefits? The consumer, of course! The Everest is set to be the “guy” to beat in the category, offering much more technology and sophistication compared to current models.
Ford is serious about this. The new generation of the Everest has grown in size, now measuring 4.91 meters in length, 2.90 meters in wheelbase, 1.93 meters in width, and 1.84 meters in height. Oh, and the luggage capacity is a massive 650 liters, excellent for long trips with the family.

Ford Everest: Performance, Equipped with the Best of the Ranger
In terms of engine, the Everest is well-equipped, featuring a beautiful 2.3-liter 4-cylinder twin-turbo gasoline engine, delivering 270 horsepower. In Brazil, the engine produces up to 260 horsepower, but don’t be fooled, that’s more than enough to make every penny spent worthwhile.
The 10-speed automatic transmission and 4×4 drivetrain make the package even more appealing. Inside, the car is a spectacle in itself. The finish is top-notch, with leather covering practically the entire interior.
Among the features, highlights include a panoramic sunroof, a trunk with electric opening and closing, a keyless entry system, wireless smartphone charging, and much more. It doesn’t stop there: the 12-inch multimedia system is remarkable, offering a range of features and wireless connectivity for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Safety and the Price of Revolution
The Everest is set to be the most complete and sophisticated SUV in the segment in terms of safety. Among the features, highlights include autonomous emergency braking, collision warning, seven airbags, animal, pedestrian, and cyclist detection, and of course, adaptive cruise control with stop and go feature.
In a category where prices hover around R$ 350,000, the Everest, even with production in Argentina, will not be cheap. It is expected to be priced closer to the SW4, which starts at R$ 376,000 in its simplest version. Nevertheless, with so many features, it promises to offer a more interesting cost-benefit ratio than its rivals.
If Ford continues at this pace, the competitors will have to scramble to catch up. The new Ford Everest, with production confirmed in Argentina, has everything to become a booming success in Brazil, shaking up a category that until now seemed to have stagnated in time.
