The Oswaldo Cruz Foundation Brasília (Fiocruz-Brasília) has open enrollment for two free courses, with remote and in-person classes, aimed at training health professionals and strengthening social participation in the Unified Health System (SUS) of the Federal District. Herbology Course: Harmonizing Concepts
The course “Update in Herbology: Harmonizing Concepts” offers unlimited slots and classes in distance learning mode (EAD). With a total duration of 40 hours, the course aims to update health professionals on the use of medicinal plants and phytotherapies.
The classes are self-instructional and can be completed by July 9, 2024. Students who complete the course with credit will receive a free certificate.

Popular Education Course for Participation and Social Control in SUS DF
The course “Popular Education for Participation and Social Control in SUS DF” at Fiocruz is aimed at community leaders, health counselors, workers, and managers of SUS in DF, as well as undergraduate and technical students in the health area.
With 140 slots available, the course aims to strengthen the processes of participation and social control in SUS, qualifying the health response and the decision-making processes of public health policy management.
Enrollment in Fiocruz’s Free Courses
Enrollment in the free courses ends on May 17, 2024, and the course is scheduled to start on July 6, 2024. Classes will be held in person across the seven Health Regions of the Federal District, in addition to online activities.
