The Agreement, Which Lasts 20 Years, Involves the Development of Photovoltaic Plants by Helexia and the Sale of Solar Energy by Exata Energia
Helexia, a renowned international player in the energy transition field, recently announced a strategic partnership with Exata Energia, a company belonging to the Prime Energy Group, known for being one of the largest energy traders in Brazil. This Distribution Generation agreement, lasting 20 years, marks a significant step toward expanding the capacity for distributed solar energy generation in the country.
Projects in Different States to Strengthen Distributed Solar Energy Generation
The partnership between Helexia and Exata Energia will result in the installation of projects in key states of Brazil, totaling an installed capacity of 46 MWp (megawatts-peak). The plans include the construction of photovoltaic plants in different locations, with 13 MWp in Paraná, 26 MWp in São Paulo, and 7 MWp in Goiás. The timeline anticipates that the works will begin in the second half of this year, with an estimated completion in the second half of 2024.
The leadership of Helexia Brasil expressed enthusiasm about this new milestone and emphasized the importance of partnering with such an influential group as Prime Energy. Aurélien Maudonnet, CEO of Helexia Brasil, highlighted that this collaboration strengthens Helexia’s positioning in Brazil’s energy transition and reinforces the trust that the market has in the company.
