Shineray Launches Stormbreaker V1200, A New Model Inspired By Harley Davidson, Developed By Its Subbrand SWM, Promising To Shake Up The Custom Motorcycle Market.
Shineray has just presented its latest innovation in the custom motorcycle segment, the SWM Stormbreaker V1200. This new model, featuring a 1200cc engine, showcases a design that strongly recalls the iconic Harley Davidson Sportster 1200. With ambitious plans for 2024, Shineray has demonstrated an increasing focus on the Brazilian market, promising to bring several new motorcycles to compete with established brands in the country, such as Honda and Yamaha. The expectation is that the Stormbreaker V1200 will be a strong competitor in this segment.
New Shineray Stormbreaker V1200 Can Reach 165 Km/h
SWM, the Shineray brand, claims that while this motorcycle may look exactly like a Harley, it was created in Italy and is almost the opposite of what is developed in the United States. Thus, it is important to emphasize that the Shineray Stormbreaker V1200 emerged only after deconstructing the Sportster from Harley Davidson. This left an open slot that should not have been left, as the Shineray Stormbreaker V1200 took advantage of the market and has already launched its motorcycle.
The Shineray Stormbreaker V1200 features a V-Twin Air-Cooled Engine equipped with fuel injection. The model delivers a maximum power of 61 horsepower and 90 NM of torque. For comparison, the Harley Davidson model delivered 68 horsepower and 99 NM of torque, according to the manufacturer.

The engine complies with the latest EURO 5 standards, which is validated in our market under Promote 5. SWM, the Shineray brand, states that this motorcycle has very good speed, highlighting that its top speed is 165 km/h. The model features 16-inch wheels, and the total weight is 225 kg, which is practically the same weight as the Harley Davidson Sportster 1200.
