Elon Musk Announces Starlink Donations After Reposting Gisele Bündchen Video to Help Rio Grande do Sul

Elon Musk, the visionary CEO of SpaceX and Starlink, recently took a significant step in response to the cries for help from Rio Grande do Sul, affected by a severe emergency situation. Starlink, known for its innovations in satellite internet, announced the donation of 1,000 terminals to the emergency teams in the state. This gesture was publicized after Musk reposted a video from supermodel Gisele Bündchen, who detailed the devastation in her hometown and called for global support.

Starlink, one of the leading satellite internet providers in Brazil, has been active in the country since 2022, covering vast areas, including 90% of municipalities in the Legal Amazon, according to data from the National Telecommunications Agency (Anatel).

In addition to Elon Musk and Starlink, Michael Dell, CEO of Dell, also mobilized in response to the tragedy. Through a post on X (formerly known as Twitter), Dell expressed solidarity and pledged technological and financial assistance.
