According to Petrobras’ report, Mubadala Capital made the best final offer, valued at US$ 1.65 billion. The signing of the purchase and sale contract is still subject to approval by the competent authorities.

Other Petrobras Divestments Beyond RLAM – Bahia

Petrobras also received binding proposals for the sale of the Presidente Getúlio Vargas Refinery (REPAR) in Paraná but decided to end the process, as the conditions of the proposals submitted fell short of Petrobras’ economic and financial assessment.

Thus, the state-owned company will promptly initiate a new competitive process for this refinery.

Competitive processes for the sale of the following are still ongoing, aiming for the signing of purchase and sale contracts:

  • Alberto Pasqualini Refinery (REFAP), in Rio Grande do Sul
  • Isaac Sabbá Refinery (REMAN), in Amazonas
  • Abreu e Lima Refinery (RNEST), in Pernambuco
  • Gabriel Passos Refinery (REGAP), in Minas Gerais
  • Lubricants and Derivatives of Oil of the Northeast (LUBNOR), in Ceará
  • Shale Industrialization Unit (SIX), in Paraná.

Petrobras reinforces its commitment to the broad transparency of its divestment projects and portfolio management and informs that subsequent steps will be disclosed to the market.
