Young Entrepreneurs Aged 20 to 34 from Rio de Janeiro, with High School Diploma Can Earn Up to R$ 60,000.00 (Sixty Thousand Reais) in the Shell Young Initiative Program 2021.

Shell is looking for young people aged 20 to 34 in Rio de Janeiro and Espírito Santo who develop their own businesses and who can, through a free acceleration program, count on a team of volunteers, partners, and experienced mentors to enhance their business. Free Shell Program Focused on Young Entrepreneurs

The Shell Young Initiative program is ongoing, and each class lasts for 12 months, considering everything from the selection process to the legalization of the businesses. The program is divided into three stages:

Idea Laboratory: This is the initial stage of the Shell program, where projects and businesses are analyzed based on their operational and market viability, and the entrepreneur is evaluated based on their behavior and entrepreneurial profile. We believe that behind good businesses, there are always good entrepreneurs. Good entrepreneurs create good businesses. The selection process has two phases:

Phase 1 – Individual Interviews: Understanding the business and entrepreneurial motivation.
Phase 2 – LiveWIRE Weekend: An intense weekend marked by various group activities. Dynamics are held to stimulate interaction, creativity, and innovation among participants in order to select the best projects and entrepreneurs. In short, it evaluates entrepreneurial behavior, project viability, and alignment with the criteria of the Shell Program.

Project Workshop: In this stage, the focus is on business modeling and validation. You will participate in thematic workshops, managerial workshops, and have targeted meetings with tutors with personalized pathways in your entrepreneurial journey. By the end of this phase, you will have developed a high-impact business prototype. Still in the Shell Project Workshop, you will develop the business plan for your venture, with its financial and operational viability checked during the Evaluation Committee.

Business Factory: The annual business fair marks the entry into the Business Factory. During the Business Factory, with the support of mentors and consultants, you will be encouraged to test and verify the market fit of your business. This last stage aims to turn your venture into a legalized and fully operational company. At this point, you can submit your business to the audit process to obtain the Sustainable Entrepreneurship Seal of the Shell Young Initiative.

Focus on Innovation, Ethics, and Sustainability

Operating through guidance, technical support, managerial support, and entrepreneurial stimulation and training, the oil multinational Shell fosters the development of entrepreneurs as change agents and sustainable business models through methodologies based on the most modern tools.

A space for interaction and knowledge production aimed at young entrepreneurs. It’s been 20 years creating opportunities and reinforcing Shell’s commitment to the sustainable development of the country.
