Estimate for the creation of new solar power plants in Brazil by the end of 2021
According to data from ABSOLAR, since 2012, solar energy has had more than R$ 40 billion in investments, generating 240 thousand accumulated jobs. The entity's data take into account both large-scale solar power plants and distributed generation, as well as small systems installed on facades and land.
New private investments in the sector could reach R$ 22,6 billion in 2021. According to ABSOLAR's estimate, over the course of this year, around 4,9 GW of installed power will be added, adding the GDs and the large solar power plants.
There are several points that make solar energy a great source for investments this year, such as the appreciation of real estate, considering that those who intend to sell real estate are encountering difficulties, since the high supply and low demand make the price of the property fall, so solar energy is one of the ways to bring a differential to the property, keeping the price stable.
