LiveWire, Harley-Davidson Brand, Reveals Two Lightweight and Affordable Electric Motorcycles Focused on Urban Mobility, Leisure, and Inspired by Classic 125cc Mini Bikes
During the Harley-Davidson Homecoming festival in the United States, the electric motorcycle brand LiveWire unveiled two new prototypes.
The highlight was the innovative proposal: fully electric models that are lightweight and geared towards urban and recreational use.
LiveWire’s idea is to offer accessible motorcycles, emphasizing simplicity, lightness, and fun when riding.

Both prototypes were inspired by 125cc mini bikes but feature electric propulsion. They share the same technical base and are designed to appeal to both beginners and those looking for a practical alternative for daily use or leisure moments.

Specifications and Performance
The prototypes have a seat height of approximately 76 centimeters and a weight of around 113 kilograms.
The acceleration from 0 to 48 km/h occurs in about three seconds, while the top speed is estimated at 85 km/h. The range can reach up to 160 kilometers on a full charge.
The battery system consists of two removable and interchangeable units. They can be charged directly on the motorcycle or at an external charger.
According to LiveWire, the overall performance is comparable to that of a 125 cm³ combustion motorcycle.

Trail and Street Motorcycles
Two distinct styles were presented: Trail and Street. The Trail version is aimed at light off-road use.
With a robust appearance, it was designed for recreational activities on trails, rural areas, or camping.
The Street version, on the other hand, has a more urban proposition. Compact and agile, it was designed for everyday use in urban centers, along with occasional weekend rides.

No Launch Date Announced
Both models are still in the development phase. So far, LiveWire has not announced an official launch date for the prototypes.
The presentation, however, signals the brand’s plans for a new line of low-displacement electric motorcycles.
