Federal Institute Opens 2,000 Spots for Free Online Course (EAD) in First Aid in the School Environment
The IFSULDEMINAS Federal Institute announced the opening of 2,000 spots for the free online course (EAD) in first aid in the school environment. The initiative is part of the Notice No. 235/2024 and aims to train teachers and staff from public and private schools in accordance with the Lucas Law (Law No. 13,722/18), as part of the Capacita Sul de Minas Program.
The course is aimed at early childhood and basic education professionals, ensuring greater safety in the school environment by training participants in first aid procedures. With a workload of 120 hours, the training includes theoretical and practical classes, as well as discussion forums and assessments. Topics covered include cardiac arrest, burns, and transportation of the injured, all essential for emergency situations.
Distribution of Spots and National Scope
The 2,000 spots offered by the course will be filled by teachers and staff from schools across Brazil, as the course will be fully online. This allows participants to enroll and complete the training from any location with internet access, expanding opportunities for continued education in the educational sector.

Course Selection Process
