Opportunities at the Federal Institute of Minas Gerais Are for Programming, with Financial Aid and Open Enrollment for a Limited Time.

The Federal Institute of Minas Gerais (IFMG) has opened 201 spots for free courses in technology. This great opportunity is part of the Digital Future Grant program, which offers grants of up to R$ 600 and job placement assistance. Candidate selection will be done through an in-person exam.

Learn About the Digital Future Grant Program – Connects and Trains

The spots are offered through the Digital Future Grant program – Connects and Trains. The courses are available at the campuses in Bambuí, Belo Horizonte, Betim, Ouro Preto, and São João Evangelista. The grants are a financial aid provided throughout the course duration.

The amounts are progressive. In the first three months, the student receives R$ 100. In the next three months, the amount increases to R$ 200. In the final phase of the course, which corresponds to the internship, the grant is R$ 600 for three months.

Course Structure: From Classroom to Professional Internship

The program focuses on programming and is divided into two phases. The total duration is nine months. The first phase consists of six months of in-person classes.

Students who pass the first stage advance to the second phase. This stage is a three-month internship at partner companies. The goal is to provide direct contact with the work environment and learning through real market problems.
