Enrollment for the new class will be open from June 24 to July 22. To apply, participants must be at least 18 years old at the time of enrollment, have completed high school, and demonstrate aptitude in electrical and mechanical areas. This aptitude must be proven by a no-cost ongoing or completed course in the respective fields.
Selection Process for the Free Course
The selection process for the free course will consist of two phases: the first will take place in July with a behavioral test, a technical test, and document verification. The second phase will be held in August and will include panels and dynamics at the specified locations. The free classes are scheduled to start on September 2, 2024, and the no-cost course will have a workload of thirty hours per week, lasting four months to complete.
Free course spots are available in 13 different locations across Brazil, where the company operates: Fortaleza (CE), Recife (PE), Salvador (BA), Goiânia (GO), Brasília (DF), Belo Horizonte (MG), Rio de Janeiro (RJ), Campinas (SP), Santos (SP), São Paulo (SP), Curitiba (PR), Florianópolis (SC), and Porto Alegre (RS).
Theoretical and Practical Classes

In addition to being a free course, students will receive an education incentive scholarship during the course period. The theoretical part of the course will be taught by a team of specialized and experienced instructors from Atlas Schindler, while the practical part will provide real field experience, with students working alongside technicians in electrical equipment maintenance routes. At the end of the free course, students will be evaluated and, if approved, will receive a certificate of completion.
Those approved will be qualified to participate in selection processes at Atlas Schindler, should there be available positions. The first class of the Technical Elevator School at Atlas Schindler started in May with the participation of 80 students who are expected to complete the course in September.
Project Expansion and Inclusion
For this second class, the company expects to educate around 100 students, totaling 180 graduates from the program in 2024, all prepared to work in the vertical transportation market, addressing the increasing demand for specialized labor. ‘The structure encompassing the entire course is grand, with much support. We have attentive and dedicated instructors and teachers. The mentor who accompanies the practical activities in the field offers all of his knowledge. I am making the most of the learning opportunity that is being provided,’ said Leila Costa, a student from the first class in the Goiânia region.
‘The launch of the Technical School was very important for us. We are happy with the development and dedication of the students from the first class and excited to offer this opportunity for professional training to more interested individuals in this second phase. We want to enhance urban mobility and quality of life in cities. Therefore, we are also committed to qualifying new professionals,’ highlights Alessandra Morais, director of Atlas Schindler.
