The Federal Institute of São Paulo Has Hundreds of Vacancies in Free Technical Courses in 8 Campuses. Enrollment in Free Courses Will Close in January.
The Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of São Paulo (IFSP) is accepting applications for the selection process of free technical courses in the Youth and Adult Education (EJA) program for the 1st semester of 2024.
List of Free Courses Offered by the Federal Institute of São Paulo
In total, eight campuses of the Federal Institute of São Paulo (IFSP), distributed across various regions of the state, are offering a total of 380 vacancies for free technical EJA courses. It is important to note that it is a mandatory requirement for candidates to have completed elementary school. The programs offered by the Federal Institute are:
- Sertãozinho – Technical in Mechanics Integrated with High School (Evening – 6 semesters);
- Capivari – Technical in Administration Integrated with High School (Evening – 6 semesters);
- Birigui – Technical in Commerce Integrated with High School (Evening – 6 semesters);
- São Paulo – Technical in Administration Integrated with High School (Evening – 6 semesters);
- Barretos – Technical in Hospitality Integrated with High School (Evening – 6 semesters);
- Campinas – Technical in Telecommunications Integrated with High School (Evening – 6 semesters);
- Jacareí – Technical in Logistics Integrated with High School (Evening – 6 semesters);
- Matão – Technical in Occupational Safety Integrated with High School (Evening – 6 semesters).

Petrobras will pay for you to take a course: in partnership with Senai, there are 2,000 free spots with assistance of up to R$ 858 per month and a certificate recognized by the MEC in industrial areas with high demand in Brazil until 2026.
By obtaining a high school or technical diploma, the student meets the prerequisite for entering higher education, allowing them to choose the area that best fits their professional dreams.
Find Out How to Enroll and What the Selection Process Will Be for the Free Courses
Enrollment is open until January 11 and must be carried out exclusively online through the form provided by IFSP. The candidate interested in the free technical courses must attach the documents as requested in item 3 of the aforementioned announcement.
For those who do not have access to the internet or a computer, with exceptions for assistance in enrollment, the Federal Institute of São Paulo will offer in-person support at the campuses of interest. The addresses can be consulted in the Annex I of Announcement No. 620/2023.
The selection of candidates for the free technical courses will be conducted differently at nine campuses. In eight of them, the selection will be carried out through a lottery, while at the Capivari Campus, the selection will be made through interviews.
The lottery for the free courses is scheduled for January 17, with the location and time to be announced in advance. The interviews at Capivari Campus will take place on January 17 and 18, and the summons will be made by the campus itself.
The announcement of the final result of the selection process for the free courses and the first call for registration is scheduled for January 24, 2024.
