News from SISU 2024
One of the news for this edition is that SISU will have only one stage of candidate enrollment for vacancies in participating institutions for the year. There will be offered vacancies for free undergraduate courses with classes expected to start in the first and second semesters of this year. Enrolling in the second semester will depend on the available vacancies and the ranking of candidates. According to MEC, candidates will not be able to choose which semester to enter, as this depends on their classification in the course.
If selected, candidates must enroll at the university during the period indicated in the announcement.
However, a student’s entry into the free undergraduate course will depend on their placement concerning the available vacancies and the occupancy of these vacancies by students who are better ranked in the desired course. Thus, it will be the candidate’s classification that will determine the start of their studies in the first or second semester, according to the specific announcement of each higher education institution.
