The Farroupilha Federal Institute (IFFar) released the Notice no. 358/2024, opening the selective process for undergraduate courses starting in the first semester of 2025. They are offered 2.085 vacancies distributed between face-to-face and distance learning courses (EaD). This is an excellent opportunity for those who wish to enroll in distance learning courses. continuing education, specializations or professional training in different areas.

The courses are offered in two modalities: in-person and distance (EaD), with a workload that varies depending on the course. Available vacancies and locations

The IFFar selection process offers 1.855 vacancies for face-to-face courses and 230 vacancies for online courses (EAD). In-person undergraduate courses are distributed across several campuses, such as Alegrete, Santa Rosa, Santo Angelo and others. Distance learning courses are offered by specific centers, such as Uruguayan, Sao Vicente do Sul and others, ensuring broad regional distribution.

Undergraduate course selection process

The selection process reserves places for affirmative action policies and also for people with disabilities (PwD). Selection is based on the candidate's performance in the Enem starting from the 2009 edition, and the candidates with the highest average in the tests will be classified. For those who opt for quotas, it is necessary to have completed high school entirely in public schools.

Application requirements

To participate, candidates must have completed the high school or be in the process of completing it by the date of confirmation of the vacancy. In addition, it is necessary to have participated in the Enem, being able to choose the year of best performance. The enrollment must be done online, and it is recommended that candidates have access to a computer and internet to follow the process.
