IFBA opened 200 spots for a free distance specialization aimed at Professional and Technological Education. The registrations already have start and end dates: from February 23 to March 6, 2026, with selection based on documentation and experience.
The course is a lato sensu postgraduate program with 360 hours and an expected duration of 18 months. Although it is EAD, there are mandatory in-person meetings for evaluations and activities, mainly held on Saturdays at the support poles.
Who Has Priority and Who Can Compete for a Spot?
The focus of the notice is to serve professionals in the teaching of Basic Education who work in the public network, especially those linked to the management or daily activities of Professional and Technological Education. Still, the academic requirement is broad.

This is not a package of several different courses. It is a free postgraduate program, with spots distributed in eight poles in Bahia, differing only in the location of in-person support.

- Santa Maria da Vitória
- Teixeira de Freitas
- Valença

Is There a Certificate and What Is the Value of This Title?
Yes. Upon completing the required hours and meeting the academic requirements, the student receives a lato sensu specialization certificate issued by IFBA. Therefore, it is a postgraduate title that enhances the résumé, scores in selections, and can be decisive in progressions, according to the rules of each network.
How Does Registration Work and How Does Selection Choose the Classified?

First, there is homologation, which eliminates those who do not meet the requirements or do not submit the correct documentation. Then comes the classification by professional experience, with points for time of service, considering experience in EPT, EAD, and teaching in general.
