The Course Will Be Offered Remotely and Free of Charge to Students
The IPETEC (Institute for Research, Education, and Technology) will hold a free course on the decommissioning of maritime installations and complexes online on the next day, June 29 (Tuesday).
The classes will take place live on the institution’s platform, and students will be able to ask questions during the lessons to the teachers.
Classes will be recorded and made available to students along with all support materials to enable them to carry out activities efficiently and safely.

The content will cover all legal, socioeconomic, and environmental aspects involved in the environmental licensing process for decommissioning equipment and the entire maritime structure, such as fluid production facilities and offshore wind energy complexes.
In the course, students will examine technical and international standards regarding processes and environmental regulatory guidelines related to maritime activities.
Students will learn about the analyses of judicial oversight and possible liabilities for damages caused to the environment. Additionally, they will also study the development of the maritime industry, the phases of the environmental licensing process, and the steps involved in the decision-making process.

To participate in the course, students do not need to make any payment. However, those interested in accessing the classes will need to pay a fee of R$40.00, which will grant access to the classes and supplementary material, as well as receive a digital certificate for participation.
