JAC e-JS1 – Alliance And Benefits For Drivers
JAC Motors emphasizes that this partnership was created with a focus on professionals who travel more than 200 km daily, often spending more than R$ 100 per day on gasoline. With the E-JS1, the estimated costs are expected to drop by R$ 10 daily with the recharges. Sergio Habib, president of JAC Motors Brazil, highlights that the benefit is equivalent to refueling the vehicle with gasoline at an average price of R$ 0.50 per liter when using free energy.
Mechanically, the E-JS1 compact features an electric motor with 45 kW (62 hp) of power and 15.3 kgfm of torque. According to factory data, the vehicle accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 10.7 seconds. The lithium iron phosphate battery has a 30.2 kWh capacity, providing a range of 161 km by Inmetro standards or 250 km in real life.
Benefits And Conveniences Of Recharging For Drivers
The charging options are also a highlight for drivers. Fast charging at charging stations (from 15% to 85%) takes only 1 hour. With a 7 kW wallbox home charger, the time increases to 3.5 hours, and a standard outlet requires 11 hours for a full charge (0% to 100%). These conveniences highlight JAC Motors’ concern in providing practical and efficient solutions for electric vehicle users.
