Cemig Opens Selection Process for Its Young Learners Program. There Will Be More Than 100 Positions in Courses in the Energy Sector
In times of scarce job openings, seeking an additional qualification is always very important to land a job. With that in mind, young people aged 18 to 24 can apply for Cemig’s Young Learners program (Companhia Energética de Minas Gerais). The idea is to provide courses focused on the energy sector for these young people.
Companhia Energética de Minas Gerais announced the public notice for the courses that are expected to start next semester. It is important to note that all applications for the young learners program must be made through the internet.
Cemig will offer a total of 100 positions for courses on Industrial Learning for Electric Distribution Network Technicians. The partnership between Cemig, the National Service for Industrial Learning, and the Union of Electrical, Gas, Hydraulic, and Sanitary Installation Industries in the State of Minas Gerais facilitated the implementation of these essential courses for the qualification of individuals for the job market work.

The aim of the partnership is to qualify young people between 18 and 24 years old who are about to enter the job market, in addition to improving the energy market in the state of Minas Gerais. The courses are expected to begin in the second semester and will last for 12 months.
Cemig will provide all necessary equipment for the courses, while Senai will impart educational knowledge to the students. The courses will take place in the municipalities of Belo Horizonte, Uberlândia, Pará de Minas, and Montes Claros.
The Requirements to Participate in the Young Learners Program Are:
- Be at least 18 years old by the course start date;
- Be a maximum of 24 years old by the course start date;
- Have completed Elementary School II and be enrolled in High School;
- Have completed High School.
The evaluation will have two phases. One will be meeting the minimum requirements and the other will be a health assessment. It is important to pay attention to the public notice, as it contains all the details.
