Focused on Increasing Collaboration and Getting Closer to Truck Drivers, JSL Launches Its First Mobile Unit
JSL, one of the largest logistics operators in Brazil, launched a major service focusing on truck drivers. The company announced its first mobile unit, which will travel throughout Brazil to areas with a high concentration of truck drivers.
The idea is for the mobile unit to provide truck drivers with tips and information about offered services, thus strengthening the relationship with its customers. The project anticipates that the experience will be provided to both truck drivers who already have contracts and independent truck drivers.
Ramon Alcaraz, CEO of JSL, spoke a little about how the project that will help truck drivers across Brazil came about: “All this work started during the pandemic, with actions aimed at truck drivers. From then on, we realized that there is a demand for more continuous support, and this time, we included information on finances, use of technology, and even health services we offer, such as psychological support.”

Is Amazon becoming a “global post office”? Big Tech opens its logistics to any company, puts more than 100 planes and warehouses on the market, and makes UPS and FedEx lose about 10% on the stock market by raising the delivery dispute to a new level.
JSL Seeks to Get Even Closer to Truck Drivers
José Mario Freitas, Operations Manager at JSL, is responsible for the project and states that the unit should increase connection opportunities on highways.

“We want to strengthen the relationship with our driver customer, bring what we have of new and get even closer for whatever support they may need. This way, we can solve most of the small daily problems,” he said.
With 37 branches, JSL expects the new mobile unit to increase connection opportunities. The idea is for the project to have three mobile units by the end of this year. The project has a partnership with BBC digital services and Sem Parar.
