Court Authorizes Release of R$ 1.43 Billion to Settle Overdue Payments from INSS; Learn How to Check
The Federal Justice Council (CJF) announced last Monday (24) the release of R$ 1.43 billion for the payment of Small Value Requisitions (RPVs) to 91,801 beneficiaries of the National Social Security Institute (INSS).
The amount refers to legal actions won against the INSS in January 2025. The cases include reviews of retirements, sick leave benefits, pensions, and other social security and assistance benefits.
Total Amount Released Reaches R$ 1.65 Billion at INSS
In addition to the INSS beneficiaries, the CJF released R$ 1.65 billion for 144,383 people who won 112,491 actions against various federal agencies. The RPVs are compensations paid to individuals who filed actions in the Federal Special Courts (JEFs), with cases limited to 60 minimum wages, equivalent to R$ 91,080.

The funds were distributed among six Regional Federal Courts (TRFs), which will make payments according to their own schedules.
How to Check the Released Amounts
The CJF sends the amounts to the TRFs, which are responsible for making deposits into the beneficiaries’ accounts. In the states of Rio de Janeiro and Espírito Santo, credits are made in accounts opened by the Regional Federal Court of the 2nd Region (TRF2) at Banco do Brasil or Caixa Econômica Federal.
Beneficiaries must access the TRF2 website and provide their CPF number, filling in one of the requested fields, such as:
- Precatory or RPV Registration Number
- Origin Process Number
- Requisition Number (9 or 11 digits)

It is recommended to have on hand the CPF number, the RPV registration, the origin process number, requisition number, and/or the OAB of the lawyer. In some cases, not all fields need to be filled in. Heirs of deceased beneficiaries are also entitled to payment, provided they prove the legal link.
Distribution of Amounts by Court
- TRF of the 1st Region: R$ 452.6 million, with R$ 365.3 million for social security and assistance actions (17,938 cases, with 21,173 beneficiaries).
- TRF of the 2nd Region: R$ 154.3 million, with R$ 123.7 million for social security benefits (5,461 cases, with 7,622 beneficiaries).
- TRF of the 3rd Region: R$ 194.1 million, of which R$ 153.9 million are for INSS actions (5,159 cases, with 6,898 beneficiaries).
- TRF of the 4th Region: R$ 404.5 million, with R$ 360.2 million for INSS insured (18,102 cases, with 24,920 beneficiaries).
- TRF of the 5th Region: R$ 327.5 million, with R$ 285.3 million allocated to social security benefits (13,502 cases, with 22,661 beneficiaries).
- TRF of the 6th Region: R$ 152.5 million, of which R$ 141.8 million for the INSS (7,271 cases, with 8,527 beneficiaries).
Each regional federal court will make payments according to their own schedules. The distribution ensures that the process is carried out in an organized manner, benefiting recipients in all regions of the country.
