The Largest Exporter And Producer Of Paper For Packaging In Brazil, Klabin Means Business When It Comes To Innovation And Sustainability. According To Information From Sérgio Vieira, ESG Editor At IstoÉ Dinheiro Magazine, The Company Invested No Less Than R$ 12.9 Billion In The Construction Of Its New Unit, Puma II. This Marks The Largest Investment Cycle In Its 124-Year History.

Two New Machines To Double Production

The New Unit, Located In Ortigueira (PR), Will House Two New Paper Machines: MP27 And MP28. The MP27 Is Specializing In The Production Of Kraftliner Paper, Made 100% With Eucalyptus Fibers. The MP28 Offers Flexibility To Produce Both Kraftliner And Carton Paper.

In Total, These Machines Will Have A Production Capacity Of 910,000 Tons Per Year, Raising Klabin’s Annual Paper And Pulp Volume To 4.7 Million Tons.
